Athletic Background: First triathlon was Ironkids when I was 8 years old, Competitive swimmer 15+ years,
played soccer and basketball competitively throughout middle- and high-school. Started running and bicycling 4 years ago for triathlons.

  • Charlotte Track and Tri Club female athlete of the year 2003
  • NCTS 1st Elite Female 2005
  • Kiawah Marathon finisher (3:39:23)
  • Kicked off masters relay team because I was too young

Pets: Bob’s 3 cats bebe, sophie and wee cat. Plus my sisters dogs – Winston, Buster, and Guinness and I'm godmother to Cerebus the wonder dog

Additional Information: Used to be an environmental scientist who had an epiphany one day and am now currently in Graduate School for Clinical Exercise Physiology at UNCC. I truly believe what a swim coach once told me ‘You have to be happy to be fast.’
