" />Many of us have favorite places to run.
Often times the place where we run is a selection that is based on convenience, logistics, or time-line. If you have run the same course every day, or every week, there is a pretty good chance, that it will become boring. When that happens, it might also diminish your motivation to run.
The joy of running is often times enhanced with new, and interesting places to run. Changes in weather can also spur new interest in running. When you combine a new place to run, and weather that is not too hot, and not too cold, you have an inspiring occasion!
We are on the threshold of a great "seasonal springboard" into running. It doesn't get much better than this, as we enter into the crisp cool days of autumn, and the beautiful colors of the landscape. This is a great time for new runners to start a running program.
Likewise, it is a tremendous opportunity to renew the joy of running for runners that have been at it for years.
Next week, we will talk more about EXPLORATION, (where and when to run).
