Muc-Off Bike Cleaning & Lube Products
We’re really excited to bring in some new cleaners, lubes, and protectants from Muc-Off. Some products are similar to products we’ve previously carried, and others are entirely new offerings and categories. Overall, Muc-Off has a big focus on reducing plastic use and waste and environmental sustainability, so we’re excited for these new offerings. Stop in sometime and check them out!
Cleaners
- • Drivetrain Cleaner
- The Muc-Off Bio Drivetrain Cleaner is the complete drivetrain cleaning solution that can either be poured into a chain cleaning device or sprayed directly to your chain rings, rear cassettes and derailleurs to clean your entire drivetrain within seconds. It’s also fully biodegradable and safe for metal, plastic, rubber and seals. It’s great for deep cleaning a filthy drivetrain!
- • BioChain Degreaser
- This biodegradable degreaser is water soluble, so it quickly and safely eliminates built-up oil, grease and grime on metal, plastic, rubber and seals. Just spray on, let it sit for 5 minutes (you can scrub any particularly stubborn or greasy areas) and rinse the grime off.
- • Quick Drying High Pressure Chain Degreaser
- We’ve carried a few variations high pressure chain degreasers over the years. This replaces those and is a great option for blasting off particularly stubborn grit, grime, and grease, and for reaching those hard-to-hit areas (like brake and derailleur pivots—just make sure you relube them). It’s also cool because it evaporates to leave the area clean with no residue. This is definitely a product we can’t live without in our Service Department.
Chain Lubes
Weve used dozens and dozens of different chain lubes over the course of our decades repairing bikes, and we can’t remember ever using a scented chain lube…until now. Not only do all of these lubes work GREAT (we’ve personally tested them all before deciding to stock them), but they also all smell great. Is a scent necessary for a chain lube? Absolutely not. Will it help you lube your chain regularly? Possibly. Is it a nice touch? Definitely!
When discussing lubing chains, a lot of people ask us how to know how much lube to apply. The Muc-Off Ceramic Lubes contain a UV dye (and each box of this lube comes with a little UV light) so that you can visibly see if you have full coverage from your application so you no longer have to guess about if you’ve applied enough.
- • Dry Chain Lube
- Muc-Off Dry Chain Lube is a durable, deep penetrating, versatile, dry weather chain lubricant and oil that’s well suited for drier riding conditions to help keep your chain cleaner and shifting smoothly. Similar to previous dry lubes that we’ve carried, you’ll likely need to reapply this lube every 3-4 rides.
- • Wet Chain Lube
- Muc-Off Wet Chain Lube is an ultra-durable, long distance bicycle chain lubricant and oil that’s been specifically formulated to excel over long distances in wet or muddy conditions. While a much more durable option, you’re still looking at needing to reapply this lube every 5-6 rides.
- • Ceramic Dry Lube
- C3 Dry Ceramic Chain Lube provides total corrosion protection and unparalleled performance in dry, dusty and damp conditions. With added nano ceramic particles and synthetic polymers, C3 Dry Ceramic Chain Lube maximizes your power output by reducing metal to metal contact provides up to 10 times the performance of conventional chain oils and lubes.
- • Ceramic Wet Lube
- The C3 Ceramic Wet Chain Lube has a unique ceramic coating that provides incredible durability and long distance performance on all bicycle chains. This lube uses Boron Nitride to ensure ultra-low friction for ultimate drive chain efficiency, high performance and durability. The waterproof qualities of Muc-Off C3 Ceramic Wet Chain Lube also mean that your drive chain will excel in the harshest of riding conditions.
Bike/Equipment Protection
- • Bike Protect
- Bike Protect is great for applying after you wash your bike to prevent corrosion, protect the finish on your bike, and to leave a sparkling, non-sticky protective layer that also helps to prevent dirt from sticking to your frame between washes. Because it’s an oil-based product that creates a slick finish, definitely make sure you don’t get it on your tire tread or braking surfaces.
- • Sweat Protect (anti-corrosion treatment)
- Muc-Off Sweat Protect uses anti-corrosion additives and inhibitors to protect your indoor trainer, gym equipment, metal bike components (chain, cassette, bolts, etc) and even helps to protect the paint on your bike from the harmful effects of corrosion. You can even use it on surfaces that already have rust and corrosion to prevent further corrosion.
- • Equipment Cleaner
- Nobody wants to have smelly gear or a smelly house, and nobody’s significant others/roommates/house guests want to smell your indoor trainer room or all of your gear. Train all you want without stinking up the house with this advanced all-purpose cleaner for all indoor trainers and gym equipment. It’s suitable for aluminum, stainless steel, carbon, plastic and vinyl. Just spray and wipe. No rinsing necessary

- Muc-Off Dry Shower is an antibacterial body wash that kills odor-causing bacteria and germs. It’s awesome for when you don’t have the time or access to a shower after a workout and don’t want to be the smelly coworker. Don’t skip your morning or lunch workout because you can’t shower. Use Muc-Off Dry Shower to freshen up without water! After applying, you can leave it to dry or wipe yourself off with a towel and you’re good-to-go. Plus, it’s free from Parabens and Formaldehyde, and is cruelty-free.
